I spent two nights in Antalya exploring the city before heading back to the airport to pick up the hire car and drive down the coast to Cirali.
Hoping out of the taxi at the airport departures I realized it wasn’t going to be easy to find the hire car place. After wandering around for a bit I finally plucked up the courage to ask someone where to find the car hire company. He made a few phone calls for me and it turned out I had to go through security and get my bags x-rayed before I could get into the departures to walk through to the arrivals. Whilst standing in the queue the get my luggage x-rayed a security lady came up to me, touched my libre and miaomiao that are both covered in kineso tape and said “insulin”. I had a flood of emotions all hit me at once. I wanted to hug the woman. I was so happy that someone actually understood especially given that it wasn’t so obvious as it was covered in tape ready for a week at the beach.
